After 22 years of touring and recording, Sean Kelly finds himself in the comfort of a loyal and dedicated fan base that have made his journey easy to justify and appreciate. I spoke to Sean recently in a candid interview discussing all the ups and downs of the pursuit of ones dreams and this is what he quoted.
SK-“All I know is that I am very dedicated to the things I love. I have had such a great life filled with great friends. When I first started out when I was around 16 or 17 years old I knew that I would end up playing music in some capacity. What a great way to express yourself. What a great way to see our beautiful country. I am just a high school drop out with a degree in adventures. With all adventures you will eventually cross paths with darkness. I was very fortunate to surround myself with a loyal team of co musicians, road crew and a few representatives that have supported my music on tours and on the recordings.”
MB-How many recordings have you produced? SK-“I believe that there must be over fifteen Samples CDs depending on what you consider a recording” MB- What has been your greatest memory or memories from your musical career including while on the road? SK- “Most all of them” “It’s been like nothing that I could explain in just a few minutes”.
MB- what are your current goals and aspirations? SK- “I am working on a solo CD that I am very exited to produce. I am looking for musicians in the southern California area who would like to help me out with this recording. I am also playing many acoustic shows with a good friend and musician Wayne Canny. He and I sound really nice together and for now it’s much more my speed.”
MB- Will you be playing with a full band anytime soon? SK- “Absolutely! I am very exited to put a band together so that I can play electric guitar as well. I can put a band together in 10 minutes if the desire to have me perform is strong enough”

SK- “Anyone can contact me at thesamplesusa@aol.com and I will get right back to them and proceed with the hopes of a show. I play back yards, living rooms, corporate events, benefits, causes and most any venue interested in a performance.”
